Purpose
Help citizens identify fraudulent or incompetent leadership and qualified public-interest leadership — without GLAI projecting, funding, or campaigning for any candidate or party. The work confronts political marginalization, corruption, unhealthy nepotism, and fake campaign promises through politically neutral sensitization.
Who can participate
Adults, community groups, campuses, and faith communities. Party membership is neither required nor useful. GLAI does not accept partisan briefing or candidate materials.
Curriculum
- Citizens’ rights and public duty
- How to read a campaign promise against a record
- Spotting corruption, nepotism, and patronage
- Political marginalization — who is locked out, and why it matters
- Criteria for judging candidates without being told who to choose
- Running a politically neutral sensitization
Process
A community or ambassador requests a session → GLAI supplies a nonpartisan brief → facilitators convene citizens to discuss rights and criteria, not named candidates → outcomes are documented without endorsements.
Outcomes
Citizens who can name their rights, test a promise, and choose for themselves. No candidate lists. No party materials. Public sessions belong in the Impact Portfolio when they can be verified.
